Pastor Peter Sodadasi

My Testimony
From silence to surrender

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. My name is Pastor Peter.
My parents have been in the service of God for over 50 years. At the beginning of their service they had no proper facilities, no vehicles, no roads, no lights — they walked with a kerosene lamp in hand and endured many hardships while serving God. I have an older brother and an older sister; my elder brother is also serving God.
My parents dedicated me to the service of God while I was still in my mother's womb. But when I grew up and was told to serve God, I refused. I had seen the hardships my parents endured since my childhood, and I decided not to follow that path.
God had given me a talent for music — jazz drums, rhythm pads, keyboards — and I made good money with it. Though I resisted my parents' wishes, from 2003 I quietly took small Bible training courses and preached in the congregation on Sundays.
On the early morning of 29 January 2010, I was in a major car accident. I wanted to die — but God's grace was with me. I came to the brink of death and was saved alive. That day, I completely dedicated myself to serving God.
After I fasted and prayed for several days, God strengthened me in His presence. When I prayed whether I was worthy to serve Him, He spoke through Isaiah 41:10 and revealed His will. When I prayed that I could not speak His Word properly, He spoke again through Jeremiah 33:3 and strengthened me.
Since then I have relied on God to serve Him faithfully, winning perishing souls for Christ and ministering in three different places. I am married, and God has given me three daughters and a son. We set up tents in proper grounds or small houses and minister — praying for permanent structures and for many souls to be won for Christ.
Yours in ChristPastor Peter
